Vanamahotsava and Birthday Celebration of Fr.
Wilfred Naveen at SJV School, Pothnal
Every year our
School discovers new paths to plant the
seeds for an Integral Ecology in the minds
of the students. On 4th July, the School
celebrated the Vanamahotsava – “Tree
Planting Festival” and also the
birthday celebration of Fr. Wilfred Naveen
D’Silva OFM Cap.
The day commenced by thanking God for the
blessing of nature which sustains our life
and for the gift of life bestowed on Fr.
Wilfred Naveen, Asst Headmaster. The
students hosted the celebration delivering
informative messages, dancing, and singing.
The Headmaster, Forest Officer Mr. Rajeev,
the Nature’s Lover, Ravi Patil, staff,
non-teaching staff, parents and students
took pride in planting saplings on the
school grounds.
